Yes of course! Recipient addressing is a service Paper Source provides by digitally printing a list of mailing addresses onto the front of envelopes, replacing the need to handwrite individual addresses. We can also print a return address on the envelope flap.

What is the proper format for addressing an envelope?

There are three parts to properly formatting and addressing an envelope. First write the recipient’s name and address on the front of the envelope in the center. The sender’s name and address is typically also written on the front of the envelope, in the top left corner. (You may also choose to write the sender’s address on the envelope’s back flap.) Finish addressing your envelope by placing your stamp on the front of your envelope, in the top right corner.

How do you properly write a mailing address?

There are three short steps to properly writing the recipient’s address on an envelope.

On the first line, write out the recipient’s full name and, if desired, their salutation.

On the second line, write the recipient’s street address and number.

On the third line, write the recipient’s city, state and zip code.

How do I address an envelope to person at a company?

When sending a letter to a person at a company, you should address the envelope in the following way:

On the first line, start by writing the company’s name.

On the next line, write “ATTN:” or “c/o” followed by the recipient’s name.

On the third line, add the company’s mailing address.

Finally, finish by adding the city, state and zip code on the fourth line.

How do I address an envelope for family?

When addressing an envelope to a family, you have several options. You can choose to:

Write out the family name (i.e. The Smith Family)

Write the plural (i.e. The Smiths)

Or name each individual family member starting with the parents’ names followed by the children’s (i.e. John & Jane Smith, Kate & Ben).
